or water hazards there are sure to be a variety of interesting challenges
for you to conquer on Fort Worth’s golf courses.
Fossil
Creek Golf Club
The Fossil Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole course designed by golf legend
Arnold Palmer, challenges golfers of all abilities. The course, a par
72, features rolling fairways and 1,150 acres of natural terrain. Amenities
include carts with GPS (Global Positioning System), a driving range, teaching
area, and putting greens. It is strongly recommended that nonmembers make

Iron Horse Golf
Course
The Iron Horse Golf Course, located at 6200 Skylark Circle, calls itself
a -thinker's course- because of its varied 18 holes.
Four sets of tees offer a challenge to players of all skill levels. Iron
Horse Golf Course, designed by architect Dick Phelps, runs through hardwood
forest and creeks. The par-70 course also has a driving range, teaching
tee, chipping and putting green, practice putting green, and PGA-certified

Meadowbrooks Golf
Course
Meadowbrooks Golf Course is the busiest of Fort Worth's five municipal
courses. It is ranked among the top 25 municipal courses in Texas. The
course features 18 holes and rolling terrain. Meadowbrooks' clubhouse
contains a pro shop and snack shop. Meadowbrooks Golf Course, a par 71,
measures 6,363 yards from the championship (blue) tees. Call the golf

Pecan Valley Golf
Course
Pecan Valley Golf Course, located at 6400 Pecan Drive, houses two 18-hole
courses: the Hills Course and the River Course. The River Course is one
of the top municipal courses in Texas. The trees planted at the Hills
Course will provide added difficulty once they reach full maturity. The
Pecan Valley Golf Course has a snack shop, driving range, indoor seating,

Rockwood Golf Course
The Rockwood Golf Course, located at 1851 Jacksboro Highway, has a nine-hole
course called the Blue Nine and an 18-hole regulation course. The Blue
Nine, a par 36, is very difficult to play. The regulation course has a
par 71 and a few bunkers. The clubhouse at Rockwood Golf Course has a
golf shop, snack shop, and indoor seating. A remote practice range is

Sycamore Creek Golf
Course
Sycamore Creek Golf Course, located at 401 Martin Luther King, Jr. Freeway,
is a very challenging par-70 course. Golfers will most likely use every
club in their bag while playing its greens. It has double sets of tees
on its nine holes, so golfers can play each hole from a different perspective.
Sycamore Creek's central location makes it a hot spot for golfing.

The Links at WaterChase
The Links at WaterChase, a beautiful par-72 course, features six tee boxes
to accommodate all skill levels. The course is located at 8951 Creek Run
Road. Carts are required during peak hours, and walking is permitted during
off-peak times. Players can make tee time reservations seven days in advance.

Timber-View Golf
Course, Inc.
Timber-View Golf Course's choice greens challenge avid golfers.
The front nine holes have narrow fairways, while the back nine are more
open. Tree-lined fairways and water hazards on nine holes add difficulty
to the course. Timber-View - designed in 1963 - has a pro
shop and a snack area. It also offers golf lessons. Tee times are set
on a first-come, first-served basis. It is located at 4508 E. Enon Road.

Z. Boaz Golf Course
Architect John Bredemus designed the Z. Boaz Golf Course, which is 6,033
yards from the championship (blue) tees. The municipal course, a par 70,
